Seems like we did pretty good on our garage sale. We sold some big ticket items - remainder of our hardwood flooring, furniture, an electric guitar a couple of kids, etc...so that helps bring in some money. People crack me up at garage sales. I had a Talbot's kids sweater marked for $1.00 and the lady wanted me to take less - I said no. Of course, she probably has 12 million dollars in her checking and I don't! Frugal I am not. So, the garage sale is over. Now we just need to get rid of everything in the garage. I have a couple of places to donate to. We may be able to even get a car in the garage!
Hannah is in Columbus for the weekend with a friend that just moved from Troy to Columbus. She left Friday morning and we are picking her up sometime tomorrow. Caleb had football all week, he seems to enjoy it, even though it was extremely hot this week. Maddie and Noelle are doing good - they had a lemonade stand on Friday and made a couple of dollars. Bad mom forgot to take a photo!
Only 3 weeks until school starts! I don't think I'm ready for the madness and getting up before 6am. This week we have a doctor's appt. for Caleb (11 yr old check-up) and Maddie and Noe have dentist appts. Hopefully, we can get a few pool days in too!
Hope all is well. More later......Julie

$1 is an outrageous amount for a sweater! I never pay more than 99 cents. I'm glad it went well!
Your brother makes me laugh with his comments:-)
I am glad your GS went well. I need to have another one to get rid of fall/winter stuff. I guess I need to clean my kids clothes first. I think we own a million coats. My kids go back to school on the 14th and as much as I want to strangle them some days I am not ready for the school schedule but they both are so I guess I can not homeschool..lol (I think they both are ready to get away from ME)
I can't believe school will be starting so soon! The summer went so fast. I'm glad that your garage sale went so well. It sounds like Maddie and Noelle did so well with their lemonade stand! I bet they were great lemonade sellers!
Great work.
